Start-lists and Timetable on Events page
Livingston is once again the place to be on Saturday for our throwers in the third of our 2016 Throws Grand Prix series.
There have been changes made the planning and organisation of this event at Craigswood following issues which arose at the first of four fixtures over the season.
We’re delighted around 125 throwers have put their names forward for start-lists and would ask them to view these prior to coming along on Saturday. Commonwealth Games duo, Angus McInroy and Kirsty Law, are among those to have entered.
Those start-lists are lodged on the Events page. Please note: there are no entries on the day on Saturday.
In order to help the schedule, more time has been allocated to each event in the timetable and we’re grateful once again – in advance – to our scottishathletics officials for their unstinting assistance.

Scotland women on the podium at the Lillebaelt Half Marathon
Scotland will send teams to the Frank Duffy 10-Mile Road Race in Ireland in August.
This is another international opportunity opening up under the Road Running and Cross Country Commission’s policy and the event takes place on Saturday 20 August.
It is intended to select a team of three men and a team of three women for this event.
This follows on from events in Northern Ireland and Denmark earlier in 2016 when there were 5k and 3K opportunities and a half marathon respectively.
‘This has been a positive race opportunity for Scots in recent seasons and I hope that we can get benefit from it again this year,’ said Mark Pollard, Performance Manager.
‘For those selected, there would be a £50 personal contribution required for the event. We are looking for confirmations of availability by 5pm on Friday 22 July so that the selection process can begin.’
If you are interested and wish to be considered for selection, please email Mark.pollard@scottishathletics.org.uk Thanks
