International Sportswear Company, Kukri, have announced they will be providing the Team Scotland competition kit for the track and field athletes for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Kukri are already the ‘Official Kit Supplier’ to scottishathletics and have been since 2012.
The news comes as brand Kukri sign up one of Scotland’s most successful track and field athletes of recent years, Libby Clegg, as a Kukri Athlete Ambassador.
With Paralympic Games silver, World Championships gold and a European Championship gold to her name, Libby, who is registered blind, will be a fantastic ambassador for the brand.
Libby will be wearing the new Kukri kit along with all of the Team Scotland athletics team competing at the Commonwealth Games later this summer where it is hoped the sprinter, along with her guide Mikail Huggins, will be a real medal contender on home turf.
Kukri Sales Director, Scott Gamble, said: ‘As a Scotsman, I’m extremely proud to continue working in partnership with scottishathletics.
‘It’s such an exciting time to be involved with the Scotland team who have so much brilliant talent and some medal hopes like Libby.
‘We are honoured to be the chosen sports brand when the Scottish athletes represent their country.’
