Throws Grand Prix 2
Start List 4 June New Gradings
Timetable on our Events page (scroll down on left).
Craigswood in Livingston hosts the second of the scottishathletics Throws Grand Prix 2016 meetings on Saturday 4 June – with over 100 athletes expected to compete.
It is the second event of four dates across the 2016 summer season with the Grand Prix incorporating Hammerama and IPC Throws for Para athletes.
Many athletes have already entered the whole series of 4 GP meets which is encouraging and ensures good competition throughout the season.
No entries on the day will now be taken so it is important that if you wish to compete you enter online before the closing date of Sunday 29 May to avoid disappointment
There’s a wide range of age and abilities entered through the younger sections – and we very much see the Throws GP partly as a development event – as well as a number of veterans.
The event is now well established with entries from Annan to Inverness in terms of Scots as well a number from the north of England and Ireland.
Due to the large increase in entry numbers at the last meeting the Timetable has been changed to allow the event to be better managed. Please check this and the Start Lists before planning your journey.
The remaining events at Craigswood after Saturday are as follows:
Saturday 23 July: Enter online
Saturday 3 September: Enter online
(Pre-competition entries are the same as last year; only £5. No entries will be taken on the day)
