The scottishathletics and jogscotland Annual Awards Dinner for 2015 will be held on Saturday 31 October.
It is always a special night for the sport as achievement and development is recognised among athletes, coaches, clubs and volunteers.
Hampden was the one-off venue for 2014 – a few months after the drama of Hampden and the Commonwealth Games.
This year, the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow will be the venue on Hallowe’en night for a special celebration.
Eilidh Child won the Athlete of the Year title for 2014 for the fourth time in six years and hopefully come October 31 we will be looking back at another tremendous year for Scottish athletes across a whole range of disciplines.
So, for the moment, all we would ask is for clubs to set aside the date in diaries and calendars as one of the special moments in the year when the ‘family members’ of athletics in Scotland gather together for a great night.
