Organising an event

If you wish to organise an athletics event, be it a track and field meeting, road race, cross-country event, hill race or highland games, you will require a permit from scottishathletics.

scottishathletics will provide information on potential date clashes, risk assessment, insurance, permit standards for road races, levy collection (for all races with an entry fee of over £2), race organiser affiliation, course measurement, etc.

If you are organising a new event it is essential that you contact scottishathletics Event Administrator Claire Archbold.

Please note that Power of 10 will only include performances from permitted events.
