Fife AC athletes have impressed in the boys races
A number of those athletes have been competing in the scottishathletics Junior Hill Running League – which takes place over the summer season across a series of races, with points being accumulated throughout.
There has been good participation across the three age groups – U15, U17 and U20 – and several clubs have been represented among those who have gathered points, with 25 awarded for a race win, from the five races that have taken place so far. There are a further three remaining.
In the girls tables (see the download), the current leaders are Niamh Whelan of Moray Road Runners at U15, Grace Whelan of Moray Road Runners at U17 and Laura Stark of Kilbarchan AAC in the U20s.
In the boys tables, the current leaders are Fife AC’s Iain McWhinnie at U15, George Rees of Fife AC at U17 and Oliver Watson-Sweeney of Giffnock North AAC at U20.
(The tables only cover those athletes who have taken part in two or more races)
