Planning the physical and technical components in to a training session and a training week.
Learn how to plan multiple unit training sessions and design a microcycle within a given period of the year based on the training objectives and the stage of development of the athlete.
You will have the knowledge and planning skills to design an integrated microcycle plan for given period of the year. You will also be able to design a series of training units (modules) within a session plan that considers the athletes’ physical and technical competence in running, jumping and throwing, based on the athlete’s individual athletic development.
This workshop will be integrated in to Athletic Development & Physical Preparation I & II and Technical Development I & II Courses.
