Busy weekend at Grangemouth

There is a busy weekend on the scottishathletics calendar looming large at Grangemouth.

Three National Championship events are due to take place over Saturday and Sunday and we want to thank athletes, coaches and clubs for the response to the Combined Events, Masters and National Relays Champs.

The CE competition takes place over both days; the Masters compete on Saturday with around 150 of our venerable veterans on the start-lists, and the Relays are part of the Sunday programme at Grangemouth.

As always on these occasions there are medals up for grabs and hopefully PB performances and season’s bests to be had by athletes across the range of the sport both in terms of age and discipline.

It is another hectic weekend, too, for the scottishathletics officials and we thank in advance those folk who help make these events happen on a weekly basis every year – with the track and field programme just for Grangemouth this summer also to include a SIAB International and the Celtic Games International.
